Course Syllabus

PREREQUISITE:   Students in this class should have either completed the Basic-Level 1 class or have had exposure to (not mastery of) the concepts outlined for Level 1.

Basic 1.5: This class will provide a bridge between Basic 1 & 2, designed for those who have taken Basic 1 but feel they are not quite ready for Basic 2. We will begin with an in-depth review of Basic 1, slowly building on that foundation  by introducing and practicing new grammar and vocabulary as a preview to Basic 2.

Class size is limited to ten so there is sufficient time for all to speak. Students will be encouraged to use their knowledge to ask and answer questions out loud during class time, using what they know to communicate with others in a safe and fun atmosphere. Birna Sigurbjörnsdóttir will facilitate the learning.
