Happy Thanksgiving + New Author’s Corner

The INLUS wishes all our USA-based individual and family members, business members, donors, supporting Icelandic organizations and all the Icelandic language students a very happy Thanksgiving.  Without your ongoing and generous support, we couldn’t provide financial support for the programming and scholarships that forge the bonds between the United States and Iceland.

Author’s Corner – Nov 28th

We also ask all our members and friends to make note of an Author’s Corner webinar event that will be held on the Tuesday evening after Thanksgiving weekend.   Minnesota author Ann Hoekstra will tell us about her newly published book entitled Snorri Sturluson:  The Tale-Weaver of Iceland.  It’s a beautifully written and illustrated story written together in both English and Icelandic.   It’s a perfect holiday gift for children so they can learn about their Icelandic roots and for students wishing to challenge their developing Icelandic language skills.   Adults will enjoy the tale as well.
