CATCH UP ON SUMMER EVENTS!
The Fall 2025 edition of the Connect is now available on the INLUS.org website.
We have stories from across North America and Iceland for you to explore.
The North American Icelandic community has been busy celebrating major milestones (Minneota, we see you!) and listening to Icelandic choirs singing in North Dakota.
We also have a report on the Snorri summer in Iceland from participant Kevin Encinas.
Amber Drake was the INLUS Snorri alum intern at Hofsós this summer. She gives us a glimpse of what she experienced through her blog.
Plus, David Johnson has just announced the fall INLUS Icelandic language classes. Why not develop some language skills before that trip to Iceland?
If you’re in Colorado in September, you can check out Njál’s Traveling Tapestry as it swings through the state. Claudia Pétursson does an impresive presentation on this classic Icelandic tale and the modern-day epic effort that created the 90-meter tapestry. Details on page 5.
Last but not least, local Icelandic clubs have been very active this summer, and they are not stopping in the fall season. Many fall events are announced, and more are in the works. We highlight several and also provide online links to the clubs, so you can check on activities near you.
