Happy New Year!

Gleðilegt nýtt ár!

New Year Fireworks in ReykjavikAs we prepare to turn the page to a new year, the INLUS wishes you a Happy New Year.  We are looking forward to a year of continuing growth and offerings of interesting and valuable information.

We will begin the year with two of our popular webinars. On January 17th we will speak with Jóhannes Þór Skúlason about the protocols and preparations going on in the Iceland tourism industry as it looks toward 2021.  Lauren Fields from NOAA will speak with us on January 31 about Arctic fisheries, including Iceland.  Additional details will be provided in January and will be posted on the INLUS Events Calendar. Our online Kaffi Tími chats will continue in 2021 as well.  We hope to see you at one soon.

Webinar Notes

Our October webinar featured Patrick Stevens, Curator of the Fiske Icelandic Collection at Cornell University.  During his talk, he referenced the Cornell University Icelandic photo collections that are available online.  Notes and Links from that webinar are now available HERE. (website link)
