Connect Newsletter Summer 2026 Releases
Summer brings bright sunny days and a chance to capture that perfect image on your camera, uh, phone!
If you’re going to Iceland to see the eclipse, or the country, or the people, or, if you’ve taken a spectacular picture in Iceland, we’ve got an opportunity for you: share your great photo with the 2026 INLUS Photo Contest.
The theme this year is “Wild Iceland” or “Iceland Unfiltered,” and it is your chance to show your unique take on Iceland. Read the announcement in the summer Connect and join in the fun.
In other news, another local Icelandic club has just joined the INLUS! This is hot off the press, so read about the club, and we’ll have more details in a future Connect. Speaking of local clubs, check out our list of upcoming club events on our Local Club News page.
We also extend our congratulations to the record number of U.S. Snorri participants this year. They will be leaving for Iceland in June and will no doubt have many great stories to tell on their return.
If you like dark Icelandic thrillers, we have news about a new series that’s streaming in the U.S.
And if you prefer a lighter look at Iceland, read up on our next webinar on June 9, which features a discussion with the author of a new book titled Happy Iceland.
